FAQ

What are The Brush Bar classes like?
In a relaxed, social, group setting, an artist will guide you through replicating the featured painting step by step, all while we play great music and you sip on your drink of choice. Whether you are an aspiring van Gogh or just looking to explore your creative side, you are sure to go home with a painting that is uniquely yours!
Do I need to sign up in advance?
Because of limited seating, signing up in advance is required. Registering on the website is the best way to get signed up, but feel free to give us a call if you need to. If a class is sold out, you can put yourself on the waitlist and we will give you a call if anything opens up. Due to last minute cancellations, we may be able to fit you in!
What is the cost of The Brush Bar class?
The price ranges between $25-$50 depending on the class. The prices can be found on the calendar for all classes.
How long is a class?
Approximately 2-2.5 hours.
What is included in the class price?
We provide Canvases, Paint, Brushes, Easels, Aprons and the step by step instruction for the painting.
What do I wear?
We will provide aprons, but we recommend wearing something you wouldn't mind getting paint on- just in case! Remember- we are using acrylic paints so be sure to leave nice jackets and purses at home! The Brush Bar is not responsible for any paint damage.
Can I bring in food?
Yes! You are more than welcome to bring in food or small snacks, just keep in mind that space is limited and we will need to know in advance if you plan on having any large orders catered in.
Can I bring in my own wine?
Since we have our liquor license, we are unable to have any outside alcohol brought into the studio. We have a great selection of wine and beer available at our in-studio bar for purchase, as well as a small selection of soda and juices. You are always welcome to bring in any non-alcoholic beverages as well!
Are children allowed at The Brush Bar?
Due to the difficulty of the paintings and the mature nature of our evening classes, children under 12 years of age are discouraged. Children must be accompanied by an adult while they are here for class.
What time do I need to arrive for a class?
We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to get checked in, gather all of your materials, and make a visit to the bar!
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations that occur 48 hours before the event start time may receive a full refund or a class credit for future use. No refunds or class credits will be given for cancellations made within 48 hours of the class start time. Late arrivals of 30 minutes or more may not be allowed to paint and the seats forfeited. Your registration acknowledges that you have read and agree to the cancellation policy. Please reach out to us via phone or email to cancel your reservation, so we can give the opportunity to someone on the waitlist.
When does the new monthly schedule come out?
We try to post the schedule three to four weeks in advance of the upcoming month.
I missed a painting that I really wanted to paint! How often will you repeat paintings?
Please let us know! We will keep this in mind when scheduling the next months paintings.
Do you provide alcohol?
We sell a variety of wines by the glass as well as some canned beer and hard seltzer options. A selection of wines by the bottle are also available for purchase. Our bar menu is subject to change depending on the season and item availability.
If I come with a friend or a group, can we all sit together?
We always try to seat friends and parties together...just be sure to let us know when making your reservation and we'll be sure to make the appropriate seating arrangements.
What is Open Studio?
Open Studio is a time where we open our studio up to the public so that you can take your creativity to a whole new level! This is not an instructor led session, but rather a free style painting or crafting session. We supply all painting materials and you supply the creativity. Walk-ins are welcome and you are able to stay as long as you'd like within our Open Studio hours. Please check the online calendar for up-to-date days and times.
